Hi- I bought this sweater comb to remove balls from one of my favorite sweaters. I wasn't sure that I wanted to invest in a pricey sweater ball shaver, as I wasn't sure if any of these products would work.

Basically, you hold the sweater fabric taut with one hand and use the other to brush away the pills. The comb fills up with the shaved pills, and you just wipe them off with your fingers and do it again. It is easy to use, but it is a manual process, so it might take longer if your sweater is severely pilled. However, it works well and I would recommend it. It's made in the USA to boot.
