Pros:Range is Stunning. Large Oven. Convection option is Great. Stainless Steel is timeless
Cons:Hard to clean. Expensive. Simmer is too hot for keeping warm and sauces.
The Bottom Line: Great-looking range with professional stainless steel look. Hard to clean the cooking surface. Oven is large and works great. Convection option is super for baking evenly.

My Viking range looks beautiful in my modern kitchen but lacks some of the professional features that I was expecting. My model has four burners with a griddle in the center (36"). It is very difficult to clean between the burners and the griddle. The stainless steel body, which I was told was difficult to keep clean, wipes off nicely with Stainless Steel Magic. Burners are large and very powerful. In my opinion simmer is too hot for keeping things warm and reducing some sauces. Oven is large enough to fit even the biggest roasting pans. Heat is very even and steady. Convection option is great for baking cakes and muffins. Makes a great prime rib. Range does not have a built in timer, which was hard to get used to. I am satisfied with the overall performance of this range but wish I had taken more time to study the other professional ranges on the market. I chose Viking because it is the best looking. Very expensive for the lack of features. I recommend studying up on the features and ease of cleaning before spending the money!
