I bought this computer 2 years ago and it came with a scanner, a printer, the dvd player and a zip drive. After the first two months I used the scanner twice and it just quite. Next the dvd player stopped working. I called customer service and they tried to fix it from there computer. Well, it didn't work so we just did not use the scanner nor the dvd player. About six months past and the printer quite working so I called them again and they could not figure out why it wouldn't work. So, again we just done with out a printer. Now are motherboard is out and they don't know if they can fix it. So, we might have to get a new computer. This has been a very upsetting experience and I highly do not recomend the Gateway 600. It is very slow and poorly built. It locks up at least twice a day. This is one of the poorest computers that we have ever owned and for $3,000 dollars I could definitely find something better to spend my money on.
