I've ordered a few items from Overstock.com in the past year or so and not one has been acceptable. They never seem to ship the product that they advertise.
I was going to install a flip-down monitor in my van for the kids last year. I ordered one from the O and the one that arrived was not what was advertised. I sent it back and got a new one. Fine. Except that it was a piece of junk that broke. O took it back. Fine. This year, I thought I'd try again. I ordered another monitor. Wrong monitor (inferior brand, less features, no warranty) shows up. I get the pleasure of having to send that back too. One mistake could be an error. But not two.
From my experience with the one that broke, I know that the O doesn't have a warehouse that houses its items. It uses vendors who ship to you. Whoever is doing the electronics should be replaced. When I called the company that was supposed to take care of warranty claims about the monitor that broke last year, I got told "That model is a piece of Sh--." It summed it up, but that's not what you expect to hear from the seller.
Maybe O is good for somethings, but nothing that I have found so far. It is buyer beware.
