A Ham? A Scam?

Written: Mar 30 '07
The Bottom Line: A fun book that’s easy to read. To add to your library, you will need.

A great book
A great book
Would you like a great book?

Take a look
Take a look
You will love this great book.

Your child will read it in his bed.
Your child will read it, on his head.
You child will read it, enough said.

You see, there’s this bloke named Sam.
Trying to get someone to try Green Eggs & Ham.
But that guy, thinks it’s just a scam.

No matter where,
Here or there,
Sam doesn’t really give a care.

He follows him in a car.
He follows him to a bar.
OK, not really, that’s going to far!

But I think, the idea you do get.
Sam will try anything to get him to eat it, you can bet.
But that guy’s not budging, his mind is set.

He won’t try anything new.
With that food, he’ll have nothing to do.
Sam can keep asking, till he turns blue.

Sam follows him to the ends of the Earth.
Begging and pleading, with all of his girth.
Come on, just try it, for what it is worth.

But finally, Sam gets on his nerves.
This type of harassment, he does not deserve.
He finally agrees, with a little reserve.

So he digs in and takes a bite.
Oh my word, Sam was right.
This meal, is an absolute delight.

He vows that he’ll eat it, where ever he goes.
What he was missing, he didn’t know.
He couldn’t believe it, his mind it did blow.

So, what is the moral of this good little book?
Don’t be afraid to give new things a look.
Sam’s good suggestion, this guy should have took !!
