The Bottom Line The bottom line is that if you want to watch a descent slasher series , it's Halloween all the way! I can't wait until Halloween 9. GO MICHAEL GO!
My top ten slasher movie list is outnumbered by the best movie series ever made : HALLOWEEN!
1. Halloween H20
This movie is the most well-structured slasher I have ever come across. It has everything ; all-star cast , great storyline and much suspense.
2.Halloween Resurrection
The only reason this movie is number 2 instead of 1 is because the storyline is not as good , but still it has an all-star cast (including the sexy Tyra Banks) , suspense , great scare techniques , and I particularly liked the way the internet was used to scare the hell out of people , very original!
3. Halloween
This movie is brilliant for its age (1978) , Jamie Lee Curtis is so intruiging to watch! This movie basically started the whole sub-genre of slasher!
4. Halloween 5 - The Revenge Of Michael Myers
I do not know why so many people disapprove of this movie! Danielle Harris is sensational and it has loads of ultra-suspense scenes (one where Danielle Harris is stuck in an air vent!)I thoroughly enjoyed this movie!
5. Halloween 2.
Great for its age and more gruesome than the original! Jamie Lee Curtis is once again fantastic!
6. Halloween 4 - The Return Of Michael Myers
This was a U.S box office hit and it's not hard to see why. Michael Myers makes a triumphant return and meets all-new characters (one being Laurie Strode's daughter - his niece!)
7. Halloween - The Curse Of Michael Myers
The worst from Michael Myers but still brilliant in suspense and thrills!
8. Scream 2
I was totally impressed by how witty and jumpy this movie was and Sara Michelle Gellar is great too!
9. Jeepers creepers
I'm not really sure if this is a slasher but it is great and I can't think of what else it would be!
10. A Nightmare On Elm Street
From what I've seen Freddy Kruegar is almost as scary as Michael Myers. This hits number 10 in my list!
