Great palm for the money

Written: Aug 02 '01
Pros:Price, Palm OS, ease of use
Cons:Wimpy stylus
The Bottom Line: I love it for the organizational features and the connections with Outlook contacts and appts. It's simple and easy.

Really for the money you can't buy a better PDA that runs the Palm OS. I've had mine for more than a year and have experienced zero problems.
The included sync software is totally hands off and seems to have always worked like a charm.
The screen seems to hold up to scratches pretty well also, though I'd recommend you look into those replaceable screen protectors. It is easy to read.
Batteries last a month for me easy. Syncs (even running AvantGo (which I highly recommend for anyone with a PDA!)) are super fast with my USB connections. You can get just a cable (no stand) for a traveling USB connection. There are many springboards and I'd recommend the backup one for those who don't sync to a computer so your data is safe. After all if the batteries TOTALLY run down (not easy and you have PLENTY of warning) you loose the user data on the PDA.
But, if you need a more fully featured (read: works with Microsoft apps out of the box) handheld you should look elsewhere
All in all a great product.
