Dear fellow epinionated reader...(yea, the corniness was intended), I write to you today asking you to please help me out. A little more than three years ago, I started using epinions when it was just a young buck coming up in the internet world. I do not intend to be like my late grandpa and tell you what the good old days were like, but I would like to share a few things. First off, when epinions started, it seemed it was a much less competitive world. When everyone was making good money on epinions, there was no cutthroat competition. There was no backstabbing or "distrusting." People were honest, trustworthy, and perhaps most important, respectful. As I come back to epinions, I am distraught to see such a hardcore group of epinioners. There are the haves and the havenots. Unfortunately, I am not an Advisor or a Chief Advisor, so I am relegated to the have not status. When my opinion is put out there, I get many reviews from "Advisors," but it is almost as if they are "just doing their job" and really have no interest in what I am writing about. Perhaps I am unrealistic, and perhaps epinions has gotten too big. But Sometimes I just wish we could go back to the days of old. Maybe I am just out of touch, and if I am, please fill me in.
