Website Under Construction!!! (Reply to this comment)

I'm in the process of putting together a new website. It still has a long ways to go before becoming even close to finished--in fact, it's actually a website that will be getting added to in a lot of different ways.

Anyway, go to:

http://www.hoosierpoetplus.com

and see what I have so far!

On the page I've called Now U C It. . ., you'll find a newsbit about you and Kiwi!!!

Gotta go for now. Just thought you'd like to know!

Hugs!

Dear Jo,

Your comment brought tears to my eyes. I am so sorry to hear about your Westie. i just don't know what I would do without Kiwi. I was crushes when my dog, Spankie, was hit by a car in 2000. I still can't think about it without getting tearful.

You and your family-- Especially your Westie-- are in my thoughts and prayers.

Love always,
Candice

My precious Westie, Popcorn, is very, very sick (: We pray every night she will go to the Rainbow Bridge so we don't have to end her life. Enjoy your little one. Much as we say "what would life be like really empty nested" I doubt we'll last a week dogless. They are such special creatures. Give Kiwi a hug for me. jo

In A Great Group, If You Ask Me!!! (Reply to this comment)

Kiwi shares her birthday with one of my high school principals, a friend and former co-worker of my mom's, and this wonderful guy at church who was my Sunday School teacher when I was almost seven and he had just turned 17--meaning that he's going to be 61 this Saturday.

Since I call Paul "my little bunny rabbit," I wonder if there's any sort of pet contest I can enter him in.

I would have voted sooner, but I haven't been online that much lately. But I voted today and have bookmarked the Kiwi page so it will be handy for me to keep on voting daily.

She looks awfully adorable in that laundry basket with the fabric softener bottle and her showing comparable size!

I think you have a lawsuit on your hands when it comes to the carelessness you were shown!

Hugs!

Probably because you haven't written in 'books' since 2000!

Re: Let me (Reply to this comment)

Yes, that's correct. They were moving me from the gurney to the table, and the nurse behind me wasn't paying attention or something, and my head slipped. Since I was unconscious it hyperextended my neck and 4 discs moved. They're now bulging, though not by much. It still causes headaches, though.

But, my recoop time was doubled because they gave me Vicodin in an IV, and I'm allergic to codeine. It took me 3 hours to wake up rather than 15 minutes as expected. Oh, and I woke up in the middle of the surgery. It was a frickin' nightmare.

Thanks for voting for Kiwi!!!

All right! Finally!

Something productive to do with all this time I waste on line everyday!

!Lets stuff that ballot box!

you said...
"someone dropped my head when moving me from the gurney to the
operating table.
"

Hey, consider yourself lucky. Sometimes they roll under the table or
the counter and they never do find them...

(From someone who actually works in a hospital. But luckily for the
patients, they don't let me near the surgery suites...)
