This Old Maid Feels It, Too!!! (Reply to this comment)
by AinsleyJo
I might be single and childless, but I know where you're coming from when it comes to those night thoughts!!!

Just always remember that God never sleeps and that joy comes with the morning!!!

As for myself, I usually love the night, but there are times when I feel something needing to be resolved and realize that I won't be able to do so until it's morning again.

Frustrating--but teaches patience and strengthens faith!!!

Love,
AJ :o)

Thanks so much, Ginzo, just found this today!

I know what you mean. I've always said that when people start griping cause life is so boring and always the same, appreciate it! It's the changes that can do us in.

Take care. Love having you here.

What beauty in writing (Reply to this comment)

But I would expect no less from you !! This is wonderful!

"They really were cute kids, so much like you,
And when they were good, they resembled me, too. "

Touche !!

Change! Man,I mostly dislike change but it is what life is all about.

I say:
The only sure thing in life is death, taxes AND change.

Oh my goodness! You're Lorace's hubby??! :o)

Didn't know you were a member here, too, Rich. So nice to "meet" you! You have the most incredibly sweet wife... but you already know that, don't you? :o)

To comment on each of these wonderful comments to me, I'd have myself in tears, that's for sure.

You all are so kind and so thoughtful to stop in the midst of your busy surfing and leave me a note.

I can't express how very moved I am and, also, how happy I am that my poem struck a chord with you.

You're all fabulous. I hope this comment will convey my deepest appreciation to each of you.

You're more than kind.

All I can say is this is straight from her heart.
There's a love within that boils over for all.
I believe I know best as she is My Friend, My Pal,and most of all My Wife.

Oh Lorace - this is so - there are no words to tell you how you have managed to reach a secret place in my heart with your words. I think everyone who has seen their children leave home will feel the same ping in his/her heartstrings that I just felt. No wonder we all love you.

Carol,
That was so wonderful. It makes me appreciate the kids all the more while they're here. I've even felt a little like that myself, so you really hit the nail on the head.

Lorace, you create magical poems. I love this one and really understand the message of saying the nice things when you have the chance.

Now that you've made me tearful, would you please write a giddy poem to make me laugh? :)

Wonderful job.
