Fees! Poor customer service! Save your money, use Charles Schwab!

I have been a long-time etrade user, since 2000. However, I have not made any stock transactions recently. I am a long-term stock holder. I do not day trade. I began to notice quite a few $40 fees on my account activity. When I called to ask why, the customer service agent told me to do a search for "fees" on their website. Sure enough, there are large number or ridiculous fees. I was subject to one of them. I asked for them to refund/waive these fees. They refused. I asked to speak to a supervisor, and they were all "busy". I guess they don't want my business.
My uncle, a frequent stock trader, gave me some good advice that I ignored. He said use Schwab.
I would not recommend etrade to anyone.
