My review is on my experience booking a hotel and the use of the Hotwire.com this past March.
I needed to find a hotel quickly and was not aware of the hotels in the area I was going. I started searching the internet on any and all sites for the best deals.
As I was searching Hotwire.com kept popping up so I decided to check it out. Wow!!
The deals were incredible. Many options and many deals to choose from.
Since I was looking for a Hotel, I was directed to the page that showed me the closest to the area and Ratings of the hotel and a great price.
When you choose an option, it will show you what type of hotel it is comparible to. Like it might be a Howard Johnson or a Motel 6 or LaQuinta. Depending on the Star Ratings it will determine the hotel brand in comparison. There is a Hotel rating guide on the website to
tell you what Hotels are rated how many stars (1 to 5 stars).
Examples-
1 Star is like a Super 8 Motel or Econo Lodge
2 Stars is like a LaQuinta or Days Inn
3 Stars is like a Holiday Inn or Raddison
4 Stars is like a Hyatt or Omni
5 Stars is like Leading Hotels of the World.. No names listed.
Now you can pick the area and pick what rating and even pick the price but then you have to give your credit card and finalize you payment and then you will get your hotel information. It is booked now and you get what they give you.

The site was very simple to use and information is retrieved quickly and many input options. I did not have to register or give any personal information until I was going to book my reservation.
I had no trouble making my reservation and it was safe to use my credit card and information for reservation came right up after paying for it. Got an email confirmation of reservation with Hotel details.
Also be aware that once you pay for your Hotel, Flight, Cruise or whatever you are booking that it is final.
There are no refunds or changes. Also the person making the reservation is the person who has to show ID and
credit card used. There is also an option for bill me later which you make monthly payments for your trip but
you also pay the high interest rate that they charge.
You can get deals on Flights, Hotels, Rental Cars, Cruises and combine these deals into a package deal too.

Even know I was not totally pleased with the Hotel I got, using Hotwire was a breeze to use and I have read about others being very pleased with their reservations. I did email my issues with my Hotel to Hotwire.com and they did
email me back right away to contact them.
