As most of you here at Epinions know, the great sordid-1 called it quits yesterday. For those of you that are not familiar with sordid, it is a shame that you most likely never will. When sordid decided to call an end to his three-year Epinions career, he also decided to delete his 100 plus reviews. Though I understand some of his reasons for retiring, I can’t understand or accept his reasons for deleting all of his previous reviews. In my mind that is the equivalent to book burning. Sordid took all of his great history and humor away from us, not to mention his most helpful product reviews. So basically what he did was create a lose, lose situation for everyone, including himself. I also feel that he put the last laugh directly on himself. He allowed all of his verbal battles that he fought for and won to end with him losing the war. There are genetic hybrid beasts out there that are laughing their butts off in pure joy. Many of the Epinions writers that were scolded by Sordid the “Bully” are now enjoying their success. Not to mention the rejoicing from all of the spineless crybaby self-victimized cowards that are afraid to stand behind their words. Sordid pounded many of these gutless wonders into submission for abusing our beloved Epinions. But most of the liars that enjoy deleting their words and that made feeble attempts to debate Sordid1 are still here, but he is gone. I also heard that Sordid received death threats on this site that were directly aimed at his family. That is a great reason for wanting to stay away from this place. But you would think if he kept a certain amount of anonymity that the cowardly terrorist with the threats would be unable to locate his family. In fact I would like to take this time to take on and challenge any and all cowards to come looking for me. They would have to start in Jersey and work their way through Chicago searching for and performing thorough investigations on all men with a big set of ever growing man-boobs. Because I am extremely careful to make sure I do not provide leads to stalking poontangs. On a website like Epinions that sees people leave everyday just to later come back -anticipating an enormous welcome home party. I would be shocked if a man like Sordid was playing the same farewell game that has been played hundreds and hundreds of times. I’m sure his departure is not a gimmick. He truly wants out. He despises the games that are played for attention. In fact he ripped on me for typing a crybaby entry that mentioned I was thinking about quitting the site. Sordid called it a “Crocodile Tears Pity Party”. But now that Sordid1 entered his farewell address to the Epinions Community, he can’t come back as the same dominating force he once was, because he would be the exact person he has spent the last three years ripping apart. Not only was sordid one of the top three writers that this site as ever seen, he was also the most creative. Not to mention the fact that he put humor, fear and truth into the hearts of many Epinions writers. He could belittle you to death for being a moron, he could exploit your weaknesses in the name of humor and he could create an argument worthy of the best prosecuting attorneys in the world. But the same intensity that made him great was also the reason for his demise. Sordid has left the building and he left with Jeffy the Creepy Consumer Clown, it is a sad day the will live forever in infamy. This is also the day that the biggest asshole on Epinions is declared. Mr. Eyore is the winner. He is the last "Bully" standing. stockholder As for Sordie, I feel your pain. He was my hero. My fantasy boy toy.
