I saw a couple dreamcasts selling for $20 each the other day. On top of it was an NES selling for $40. Now that's weird. If it wasn't for the fact that I already have 5 gaming consoles, I might buy one and squirrel it away until next winter when the temps dip below 0.

I've always been a gamer, but I don't really write about it. I got my hands on a dreamcast the first week of release, that seems like a thousand years ago for some reason. But I was so impatient and upset that key games were always on the horizon. The first six months, there just wasn't much that I liked and so I sold it.
I got a PS2 a few months after it came out, and I got tired of it in a few months and sold that too.
Oh well, time to put more money in Bill's pocket and get an Xbox, I need to play the war games, Doom, and get my hands on Halo and then of course Halo 2 in 2004.

BTW, thanks for mentioning the VGA adapter...I forgot all about sticking that in the article! I'll have to hunt down one for myself one of these days.

... wow, didin't know I had a rare copy of something. My DC is currently collecting dust in my PC desk right now, but after this article, I may go find an adapter for my PC monitor and go back to console gaming for a while! EXCELLENT job.
