I love Spaceballs, really like Young Frankenstein and Blazing Saddles, but hate Men in Tights, I'd have "I'm Gonna Git You Sucka" on the list, and my favourite scene from "Top Secret" is actually the scene with Peter Cushing where you eventually realise its being played backwards. Doesn't get any funnier than that (well, OK, Capt. Oveur is side-splittingly funny in "Airplane!") Still, a fine list, Robin Hood excepted.

Thanks Jay, I'm flattered you liked my list. Scary movie had its own appeal, it is a little different than the other spoof films, I still liked it. I could probably add the other movies I mentioned from the cast of Spinal Tap, very funny movies by Christopher Guest, his latest "A Mighty Wind", "Best in Show" and "Waiting for Guffman".

Robin Hood: Men in Tights is one of my favorite spoofs. I wish it would be released on dvd. Isn't the fight scene with Robin and Little John the same one where Robin pushes him off the bridge? LJ falls into the creek and starts yelling that he's drowning (he's lying in about 2" of water). lol
Ahh, Austin Powers. The sight gags are good, but my favorite scene is the one after he and Vanessa escape from Dr Evil's "easily escapable situation involving an overly elaborate and exotic death". Anyway, Austin ends up getting stuck on the steamroller in the hallway with about an inch of room, so he just keeps alternating between driving forward and reversing. I think about that scene every time I get stuck trying to back out of a parking spot (usually because I'm stuck between two big SUVs!)

This was the coolest list ever! Although Scary Movie sucked, it's probably one of the most profitable franchises on here. I'm surprised that you didn't put (roll my eyes) Not Another Teen Movie on here! I'm a big fan of Top Secret! and Airplane and you gave me some incentives to check out Spaceballs and The Naked Gun, which I haven't yet watched! Good job!
