The Bottom Line: I wish I'd of never layed eyes on this machine! Its now tearing my clothes, and growing mold. It costs way to much and the quality is poor!

Hello, we bought a Kenmore HE2 washer dryer a year ago Jan 06). It is a piece of EXPENSIVE JUNK! We have had the repair people here 4 times and we are waiting for them again! Our problem is socks and small things keep getting into the drain. And now a new problem....water shooting out of the detergent drawer! We have been told to put all socks and small items in a garment bag. The day repair came I had 2 garment bags in the washer! Then the repairman told us we apparently needed to sort our clothes according to size?!! And we can't put small items with larger items?! Also we were told not to wash large blankets alone or the load becomes unbalanced...so I washed a quilt with other items and that caused water to shoot out the detergent drawer all over the floor! Now our family of 7 has to wait 4 days for the repairman!! I wonder if they will reimburse us for the undergarments we are going to need to buy! Long story short....DO NOT BUY THIS CRAP! I only wish we could have found reviews before we wasted our money! The repairman even told me that the front-loading machines keep him busy, if not for them he’d have nothing to do. Did I mention the mold that is growing in the detergent drawer? We were told by repair to run bleach through the machine once a month. I don’t know why but I equated spending a bunch of money with quality. My mistake! Now doing laundry just got way more complicated!! (Sort by color AND size, AND put all small things in garment bags, AND don’t overfill OR under fill), you’d be better off to just take it all to the laundry mat!
