Alltel Texting Problem

Pros:My Circle program and the family plan that they have
Cons:Slow customer service and a very bad network connection
The Bottom Line: I would not choose to go with this phone company if I had to choose again. They have terrible text messaging problems.

I have had Alltel for 10 years and now I am having network problems with them. I can send text messages, but I cannot receive them. I called Alltel 5 days ago and they still have not fixed the problem. They said that this happened because I am on roaming, but I do not think this problem should have even occurred. I am going to change phone companies. I am really disappointed with the service that Alltel is providing me right now. I will not renew my contract with them and do not recommend anyone to choose them as a service provider. The customer service is terrible and slow. Also I did not feel that they helped at all and just told me what I wanted to hear. They keep telling me that "they are working on it". They should just fix the problem. The first time I called they said that it would be fixed within 72 hours, then I called back 72 hours later and they told me it could take up to 14 business days. Why can't I just get a clear answer? I feel as though I do not matter to the company because they are giving me zero attention.
