Jude,

Go ahead and invite him anyway. I am sure you can find other things than what we talked about. We all know he has so many fascinating things to talk about...

...I didn't find out about this write-off in time to nab Ed myself....Forget the interview....I would have just loved to spend a week watching his eyes twinkle as he tells his stories. But what aa interesting and illuminating interview! ( Curse Barbara Streisand! LOL).

Thanks for posting this!!

Ed,

Only 35 pounds. I seriously need to loose twice that to get back to my pre-children days. I have been overweight for about 7 years now. I hate it, of course, but lack the will-power or what ever it is to do anything about it.

Let us know how it goes -- perhaps you will inspire someone.

I put on 35 pounds and it's all in my gut. I'm going low carb and no sugar to see if I can get rid of it. of course, I'll have to exercise, too, but that won't be too hard.

A wonderful review with one of my favorite writers. Your questions and his answer have made my evening. Sorry I am late to rate but my son has been visiting for a couple of days, and has taken more then a day trying to defragmatize my computer. It seems to be on its last legs - but I'm trying to keep it working for another week or so.

Thanks for choosing Ed - a great choice and your questions were right on target.

Katy,

I already know the answer to that. He did not. He has a bike that he rides. You can look at his profile pic and tell that he isn't heavy (unlike me, who is feeling very cow-like due to eating at Burger King tonight).

Thanks as always for reading and commenting.

If you run into Ed again, ask him a question for me, will ya? Now that he's told us he quit smoking with Zyban, I wanna know... did he get fat?

and always has been since I first read his reviews way back then...I would like him to know that I always, always thought Lord and Taylor had the best window displays of any other store in the City..The interior of the store as well..Christmas in New York just wasn't Christmas until I saw Lord and Taylors..:)

Great questions and I enjoyed reading this very much..Now that I feel better I think it's time for me to answer grannies questions...

Thanks,
Barbara

Hey -- You can still invite him out for a drink! :) Or choose someone else. This was a really fun w/o for me. I typically don't do too many w/o's and this is the first one that is anything personal. of course, it isn't about me, so I felt safe.

Thanks for commenting.

Gungian,

Long time no see! Are you back with us? You gonna tell us why you haven't been as prolific with your writing as usual? You gonna start writing for us again?

Oh -- and thanks for stopping by to comment. We are having too much fun with this w/o!

Teri,

This w/o entry was actually quite fun. I got to ask Ed some questions I have been wondering about, but have never asked. He is quite an interesting person.

Thanks for the nice comment!

Ed,

You got it wrong. I need to thank you! You are so wonderful. I hope you know that.

I think it came out rather nicely. Now if I could only make it up to Michigan to taste that Gazpacho!

Thanks for picking me to interview for this write-off. I'm really flattered by the whole thing and as I was in sort of a mellow mood and it all came through rather nicely.
