Just a bit of fun for Pratchett fans. Nothing more, nothing less.

Ooh, tough call! There's so many great characters, and some of them have smaller parts than others. Er... that is to say, I didn't mean... nevermind. *g*

1) Granny Weatherwax
2) Death
3) Rincewind
4) Detritus
5) Igor

Oh shoot, I need a top 10! Nanny Ogg is another favorite, as is Cohen the Barbarian, the luggage of sentient pearwood, Ridcully, Ole Foul Ron, Death of Rats, the Librarian, our Jason, Albert, Gaspode, Cut-me-own-throat Dibbler, those little blue whatchamacallits...

Sure, i'll play. Favorite novel: Men at Arms or the Truth. I prefer Pratchett when he's writing hysterically funny great literature instead of just being hysterically funny. Those books are, respectively, one of the best novels ever written about race relations and rule of law, and _the_ best novel ever written about the news media.

Favorite characters: Oh, you'll see a trend.
1. Sam Vimes
2. Corporal Carrot
3. Lord Vetinari
4. DEATH
5. Igor. Any Igor.

I thought Gaspode or Detritus would make the list. Pity. Fun idea for a get-together, Dave!

cheers,
- Brian

Well I think I remember you saying that Reaper Man was your fave in some of your reviews... :-P

I'd forgotten about the Igors - they're fantastic. I think I'll go and order an Igor from the agency...

Dave.

PS - I'm immune to your curse, I've had my Wheatabix...

You called me out! Now I have to actually think about it. :-)

Hm, ok. You're right about favourite book. It definitely has to be Reaper Man, though The Truth probably is a close second.

As for favourite characters, let's see.

1) Death
2) Sam Vimes
3) Granny Weatherwax
4) Otto, the vampire photographer (from The Truth)
5) Vetinari

Honorable mentions to Nanny Ogg, Casamunda, and Igor (all of them, actually).

Do you mean Granny Weatherwax? She's pretty good... not really into the Witches, they don't do much for me, but Granny Weatherwax is definitely the best!

Yeah, The Luggage is pretty good too - had almost forgotten about that one! (That reminds me - I need to review Sorcery... it'll be yet another 5 star job!)

Cheers Doc,

Dave.
