Doug,
Heh heh...
Hopefully mine's not quite so...dark.
It's supposed be a happy song (sort of).
A theremin and a marshall stack? I guess that's the real answer to that old Zen ko-an, "What is the sound of one hand clapping?"
I prefer to touch my instrument, if ya know what I mean.

Thanks, Brian.
Since I started playing this around, I've discovered there's a whole subgenre of Frankenstein-related music.
I hadn't heard of Blegvad, but then I'm musically self-obsessed and antediluvian. I'll have to check him out, though...

Hi Andy,
If I remember correctly, the video for "She Blinded Me With Science" had some images very appropriate to this one, notably the hottie in the lab coat...
In fact, she's about the only thing I remember from it.
Thanks!

Made me think of Rob Zombie's Living Dead Girl for some reason.
If you need someone with a theramin and a Marshall stack that goes to 11 on this song...

Song to seek out: "How Beautiful You Are", by Peter Blegvad (also available and excellent in a version by his friend John Greaves). I know perfectly well you didn't steal the concept, nor is your concept more than moderately the same. I'm delighted to see the similarities, as you might be; and you remind me of a great song without looking the worse for wear, which I think means yours is excellent too.
cheers,
- Brian

of Thomas Dolby's "She Blinded Me with Science."
Which is odd, since it's so much more in Oingo Boingo's "Weird Science" vein.
