I'm finally getting around to making sense of my mess here, and let me tell you that I had this glue-tray-style mousetrap back in this one corner before I started serving my little guests DeCon down in the basement before they had the chance to climb up here.
But I had (and still have) furniture, boxes, and other heavy stuff between the trap and me--with the trap having already been successful at catching at least one mouse.
I hadn't been able to get to it, so it finally exploded.
I can see what I'll be dealing with in time, and I don't even want to think about it.
But it looks like a bunch of dark-gray dust bunnies in that blankity-blank tray, and, following your example, I've decided to name them collectively as The Sordid Ones!!!

Those damn bunnies got sucked up and recycled to my home! I caught them hopping thru my door just a minute ago. And talented bunnies they are....they had to hop up 31 flights to find me.
They send their regards and are telling bunny tales about you! Don't worry.......it's all good!

Yep, I may have sneaked Heckle and Jeckle into one of the boxes! They were so darn cute! And it still hasn't really sunk in yet that I won't have to deal with a Landlord anymore....probably will when I pay that first mortgage note! Thanks, Kath!!

I used to have dust bunnies too. I just left them alone (naturally--I'm a guy) and of course they reproduced. Eventually they covered the whole apartment floor. That's when I named them. I called them "Carpet."
I'm sure you'll miss your old friends, but the great thing about moving is that you will be making all kinds of new friends. Look! There are five of them there--right under the refrigerator!
