The Bottom Line MS Blaster vs. me on Earthlink's turf. Who will win? Smart money is on MS Blaster. Update changed the field of battle to Spamcop.
OK, I've had enough. My primary E-mail account (at sprintmail.com under the control of Earthlink/Mindspring) is under an MS-Blaster and related virus attack. Earthlink's "spaminator" is unable or unwilling to block the messages, nor is it able to ALLOW messages which contain a specified keyword (such as Hormel or Epinions), while blocking all others (except from specified E-mail addresses). It DOES allow me to block all E-mail except from specified E-mail addresses, but that does no good to my fans and detractors here.
Any suggestions as to what to do (other than getting another E-mail account) would be appreciated. Please put them in comments, as you probably won't be able to E-mail me until this problem is resolved or resolves itself.
I do have a secondary E-mail account, but I won't release it here, as it has even a smaller quota -- AND I have been mailbombed and listbombed by a former Epinionator.
I also can't update my profile (thank you Epinions) from my home machine.
UPDATE (9/22): The main problem is now (probably) resolved -- thanks to google answers and spamcop. As long as spamcop's account quota is over 1 MB, I should be OK for the moment.
