sounds like an amazing show! the weakerthans' record was one of my favourites from last year, and i'm glad you enjoyed the constantines. i really should write on epinions more. i have a stack of new records to review (if you can find the arcade fire record, do so -- quirky art-pop, i'm quite fond of it) ... anyways hope you're doing well...

I'm sure it was not ideal! Brenda told me she woke up at one point to someone banging on the stall door and asking if she was ok. She replied with some groggy noises that were meant to convey "I'm fine! Leave me alone!" She said no one else bothered her after that but she's sure people thought she was some drugged up wreck.
Meanwhile, I was blissfully enjoying the show and naively thinking that she was somewhere in the back sipping a water and catching her breath.
Sigh.

quite a good show. I've been to the Troubadour quite a few times, and the woman's bathroom doesn't seem like the most comfortable place, hehe.

I feel sorry for your friend missing out on the show. I would love to see the weakerthans one of these days, but it seems they'll be wrapping up their US tour to head over into europe right as I head back over into the states! DAMN THE LUCK!
