David,

This was a great review! "Sexy cinnamon stick" made me laugh too. I'll have to read more of reviews. I hope we have a chance to meet at another M&G sometime.

Hey MM,

Glad you enjoyed! I think one of the Epinions staff-type people (Maybe Alexis, but I can't swear to it.) said that because DealTime is based in NYC, they may do additional meet and greets there. So, you haven't necessarily missed your only chance!

I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for that call, but you *might* just be getting a little extra attention as I took the liberty of transcribing your phone # on several choice bathroom walls :)

I thought about making the 4 hour trip from Boston to the MnG but finally decided it was too complicated / expensive. If I had known thongs would be involved, I would have made a different decision. I loved the write up and pictures.

Hey Jozef,

My ability to remember the event has a lot to do with the pictures I took, and the brief notes I took on them, as well as the correlating data from Ashok's website. I actually was thinking about how I want to get a pocket-sized tape recorder for the next convention I go to! Do you think it will weird people out too much?

We were surprised that you were short, because your profile pic contains such raw, unbridled sexual energy, we never imagined it could be contained within such a petite body!

Ha, well I guess I do pack in there tight, eh?

HTML-o it is, and you're forgiven!

Hey Robin,

We were surprised that you were short, because your profile pic contains such raw, unbridled sexual energy, we never imagined it could be contained within such a petite body!

As for the height, I did shortchange you, but not by as much as you thought. What you saw was a typo. See, I typed out my review in MS Word and then pasted it into the Epinions submission form. The problem is that the MS Word apostrophe and quote marks are not part of the standard html character set, or something. So the form converted into html character code. This is normally not a problem. However, if the character immediately after the quote is a number, that number gets appended to the html code for the quote mark, making it something completely different. I was trying to say that I thought you were 5'2", only one inch short of the mark. I've already changed it, but if you had looked closely, you would have seen that it didn't actually say 5', but rather 5ֶ” the '2 contracted itself into ֶ. I'm not sure how that's going to look when it publishes. If it doesn't look like I expected it, too, I'll post a follow-up comment. Anyway, maybe we should call it an html-o instead of a typo.

Hey Tom,

Don't worry, I got that you were talking about my gross oversimplification of the Mennonite lifestyle. I'm just a stickler for my own grammar, syntax, and proofreading.

Tony Babe,

Make it to the next MnG, and maybe Nirav will be holding more than just a I (heart) sslabs sign...

Thanks for the fun read (Reply to this comment)
by sslabs

And thanks for snapping the pic I requested. But, I'm starting to get the feeling I'm not worth the 99 cents for the appropriate large sheet of construction paper needed for the appropriate

"I (heart) sslabs" sign.

Receipt paper? Oh what am I going to do with Kristina? I offered to pay for this service and Kristina refused!

Oh well, it's the thought that counts right? Normally, I won't read such a long Blah, blah, blah opinion, but I'm so nosy, and this was really interesting. I'm a firm believer in the 'gold nugget' theory of epinions. Not every 'epinion' has one, some are small, others are like boulders.

"but Nirav Tolia is one sexy cinnamon stick" That one is a massive rock, and it made me laugh. I don't know why, but listening to a gay man describe a sexy man always makes me giggle like a little school girl. Well there you have it, another little bit of worthless 'sslabs' info concerning rocks and gays.

- Tony

PS the Nirav loves sslabs photo will be posted soon.

I'm 5'3"

For the love of Nancy, give me those extra 3! Ha, why was everyone so shocked that I was short?

Oh, and the tattoo is the rebel alliance symbol. But I'm not here to pick on you, I love you too much.

Mwuah.

That umbrella thing was pretty dang funny. I really thought you'd respond immediately, but then I realized you thought it was some random girl whacking you with her umbrella.

Oh no! cyber-misunderstood again!

My comment wasn't particularly about the missing letter 'e'...

But more about "like the Amish, only with some electricity."

That's the image I will remember. Well, that and you jumping kristinafh's bones... :smilie moment: ...

I think that you officially qualify as being hornier than me, and I didn't think that was possible:) I was totally surprised when I saw how cute Nirav was in the pictures. I don't know where I got the image I previously had of him (I swear it was from a picture somewhere), but he's definitely a lot hotter than I had thought. Sorry that Garrett was married, but is Alexis? That's what I'd like to know. Glad you had a good time. The more of these I read, the more I wish that I had made the trip. The thong picture is still cracking me up.

cheers,

I saw the Mennnonites singing in Penn too- so I'm guessing we got there around the same time..

Anyway it was nice meeting you at the M & G. You're a very exuberant person! I'm so lazy that I don't know if I'll get around to writing a review on the M & G... we shall see... :)

"On the way, I cam(sic) across a throng of Mennonites

I'll have you know that, on the way, I do indeed habitually take the form a non-circular mechanism that follows the shape of Mennonites in order to manipulate the vertical position of a shaft.

Oh, all right, it was a typo. Fixed.

Thanks for your comments! As much energy as I had writing the review, it's nothing compared to the energy with which I humped Nirav's leg. I mean, with which I attended the event. Yeah.

Written with an abundance of energy David, very nicely done!

So much to comment on. But oddly, the one image I will remember has nothing to do with Eps or the 'meat-n-greet'.

you said...
"On the way, I cam(sic) across a throng of Mennonites (They’re like the Amish, only with some electricity)"

Hmmmm. A sociological observation that I shall not soon forget.

I really look forward to reading all the comments to follow. I am sure they will contain the same energy that your tale already does!
