I really loved this site when I first discovered it. I thought to myself "Great place and reasonable prices".I went ahead and applied for the Ubid card,1.000 dollars credit.
I spent hours going through the Ubid inventory,they do have some great deals.I ordered a table and a couple of chairs.I also ordered a leather rocker that looked very nice but when it arrived I was shocked.It is very flimsy and is not real leather,it is not very comfortable either and it cost me $199.00 plus shipping.
By the time Ubid hits you with the shipping and handling you are already in trouble.Ubid charges to much for shipping.
Ubid will tempt you with complete pics of a home PC.but be carefull the monitor,speakers and keyboard are probably not included.Be sure to read all the fine print,most of your great deals are refurbished, not new.Also their return policy stinks.I bought 2 dozen Nascar T-Shirts,great deal only 6.00 dollars a shirt,when they arrived they were out of date,the drivers cars and numbers were not current.These shirts must be at least 10 years old.Ubid should have been honest about this.
The warranty states that unless the item is defective there will be no returns.I wrote UBID and told them that the shirts I purchases would not resale because they were old ,they told me they would not take them back.
I have maxed out my card on items that are not quality made and there is not anything I can do about it now.
Looks are decieving
I found out the hard and expensive way.
