Giving up isn't easy and it sounds like you have conquered the 1st hurdle...
'Deciding' to become smokefree.
I smoked for over 25 years but gave up, ( 5 years now) and the major reason I succeeded was because I 'decided' I wanted to be a non-smoker.
9 days is a huge achievement and the longer you go without nicotine in your system, the easier it gets.
I found that when times got tough, I just pretended to have a smoke and found going through the motions of lighting, inhaling, exhaling seemed to sooth the nerves a bit.
Good luck and I hope it all keeps going well.

I quit cold turkey back in 1996 after about 20 years of smoking. I would have liked to see more details in these tips and tricks to assist others who want to quit.
Continued success to you.
