To fully appreciate Sudan, you need to spend more than just a couple of weeks...things take time to organize here, but good things come to those who have patience!

Check out MARAWI BOOKSHOP for the Largest collection of Postcards available in Sudan. You'll find it at the beginning or the end (depending on where you are coming from) of Parliament St. (spelt PARLAMAN St.) in Khartoum, Sudan. Opposite the old Sudan Club.

For any enquiries call them on 0183 773 435.

They also have a wide selection of Childrens books, Poetry, Historical, Political and religious books (they have the Quran in several languages.). The staff are very helpful (I couldn't find the book I wanted; they ordered it for me and sent me a text message when it arrived) and the manager speaks fluent English.

Here's a link with a 'geotag' so you can find it on the map. Just click on 'maps' on the bottom-right hand side of the page.
