I haven't heard the first three songs you mentioned...and after hearing you describe them, I don't feel that bad about it! This was interesting, to say the most. I do plan on taking part in this write-off....I'm still compiling the list in my head.

definitely. I have that crap-music Evanescence. Every time I hear it I'm reminded of Linkin Park which is NOT a positive comparison. And I agree there's nothing worse than a band as artificial as that...or as Creed.

I'm glad your struggling in-need-of-oxygen angel kept you honest. It made the piece fun, instead of just nasty, and i'll give a lot more respect to your hatred of Evanescence since you respect what they do well.
And you're right about "Werewolves of London", except, see, Warren Zevon was _one_ of those songwriters out there, struggling to write intelligent and interesting songs. And one day he realized that yelling "Ah-ooo!" was going to serve him better. Probably bugged him as much as it did you - which i imagine means his estate will be happy to split the royalty checks.
