Bach! Mozart! - Trust12345's Second Chance W/O

Oct 25 '03

The Bottom Line I recommend that you all worship at John's feet.

Once upon a time, in a far away land, I had the pleasure of meeting John. Initially, he was quiet, reserved, no more than a fly on the wall. When I walked into the room. He looked at me. I didn't recognize him and instead of going over to him immediately, I shied away. Something about him intimidated me. After talking with others, I eventually made my way back to his area of the room. I saw his name tag. Gasp! It's Trust12345! I know who he is! He frightens me! He writes these classical music reviews and part of me wants to slap him...part of me wants to kiss him.

He smiled at me and that was the end of all of the intimidation. Our conversations were animated (Bach! Mozart!). Poor Mike (aka Speeddemon531), he sat there on his stool, unsure of whether he should speak up, shut up, or move :).

And the point of this story? No point. I just wanted to document my first (and certainly, not my last) encounter with John at the epinions Meet-n-Greet in New York. Next time I see him (soon), I'm sure he'll look at me with that concerned look of his - I intimidated you?

In honor of his first anniversary here at Epinions, I am graciously sticking my big toe into the pool of second chances. I heard I was welcomed and all I was told to do was to make sure that I linked back to his original invitation. There’s no deadline to post which is a good thing because I am a procrastinator and many times, I have failed to make date commitments for write-off’s.

I scoured over my gone and forgotten, neglected, and dejected opinions and essays and found a couple to share with the community. The ones that I am including are reviews that have significance to me. Whether you like them or not - well - you know...that's up to you.

Starting with the serious ones....

These were a peak into two different and very personal situations of my life
* Hello. My Name is Kristina and I Am A Statistic
* Suicide Is A Smell That Never Leaves

Epinions used to have some really, silly categories. What's a girl to do but take advantage of them?
* Smooth Bikini Areas Are Downright Sexy
* The Pinups of Epinions: The Hot and Steamy Women of My Wet Dreams.

If you want to know me, on the verge of cracking up, look no further
* These Wounds Won't Seem To Heal, This Pain Is Just To Real.

Other than those, none are truly worthy of a resurrection.

Look for all entries to be listed here.

Happy Epinions Anniversary Dude!
