I have always hated buying floral arrangements over the phone. You know what you want but you may not get it (like the time my husband asked our local florist to send me a nice summer arrangement and I got one orchid). It was pretty but not my style.
Now you can order flowers through the internet. I have tried a few different florists,but Florist.com is my favorite. They have a good selection and you can see what you are ordering.The prices are reasonable and in a lot of cases you have the option of an upgrade. They deliver when they say they will and I have always been impressed by the flowers they send.
Florist.com also offers gift baskets. Last year,I needed to get a basket from a group to a friend of ours who had lost his father. We decided to get a snack basket. I will say it was huge. It included all kinds of goodies, drinks (non-alcoholic). It was just a very very nice basket.
Florist.com takes all major credit cards. You can also go through Ebates and get a significant rebate (the last time I ordered it was 15%). They do sometimes offer discounts also,for example $10 off $50 etc.
I strongly recommend you use Florist.com for all your floral and gift basket needs.
