There is an association in San Diego that puts on week long surfing camps for kids on the spectrum. We are signed up for a week in August. My daughter has Asperger's but is very athletic under the right circumstances. She is really looking forward to it. I tried to get into this camp but they didn't have any dates/locations that worked for us. Maybe next year. Glad to hear your son had a great time!!

I must admit that I did get a kick out of the comment ... gothy complexion like their Mom! ;) Gee, I am going to have to think of a nickname for MT now that I know this! :)
But... more to the point... It was really great to see a review of this camp from a dad's point of view! It sounds like a wonderful experience for both children and parent's involved. The enthusiasm and love you have for your son is so awesome to hear!

I remember the first time we took him down to the water too and how happy he was. Lets go one night this week if its nice out and let him put his feet in for the first time this season :)
