My Niece Battled this disease (Reply to this comment)
by barakah59
Thank God she won. I know it's not easy to go through. Fortunately when our family had to face it the doctors prognosis was good. Jessica on the other hand wanted to give up. We really had to push her to want to live.

I think now she is glad to be here :)

I will participate in this write off as well

Although I don't have any history of anyone or myself with Leukemia in my family, I'd be happy to add the link to the website on a few of my newest beanie baby reviews for the months of November and December, when they arrive.

Thanks for this piece and the poem, it touched my heart.

I love bowling, too, but I don't know if any places in Kentucky sponsor a "Pins for Pauly" activity. Do you know of any I could go to?

Thanks,

=Aaron=

for your loss. I know you miss Paul very much. I was glad to read that you know that one day you will be seeing him again. That is some comfort when we loss loved ones who have gone on to be with the Lord. I have a friend that lost her little 8 year old grandson, Carey, to this terrible disease.

I will be glad to put some info in my reviews about your project. When I get done with the 2 projects I'm already working on I will be glad to donate something as well.

God Bless you & your family,
Wendy

a loved one to this horrible disease. It's so hard to watch the people we love suffer while being sooooooooo brave. My heart and my thoughts are with you Anthony, but take comfort in knowing that Paul is with God. I bet him and my brother are friends and smiling down on us right now.

Sign me up for the W/O, it will be my pleasure. And thank you for doing this.

Just My Thoughts,

I am so sorry for your loss. This tribute to Paul is heart touching. I have you in my prayers for peace remembering all of the beautiful memories of Paul.

My best to you always,

And they know are lucky. Her mom still worries desparately even though she's been cancer free for 5 years.

I think it's great that you are still out there supporting research to find a cure. Our friends do too cause not all her chemo buddies were so fortunate.

Peggy

I feel your pain I also lost my cousin this year in June. He was a stand out WR for his football team and was expected to go all-state, he was shot & killed by his best friend, and even though it isn't the same circumstance with your cousin, I feel you.

Hey TS. The link isn't working because they are currently updating the site. Give me a few hours - I'm gonna find some foundations for leukemia and cancer, then I'll get back to everyone on that. Thanks for letting me know :-)

baklava! Isn't it something how we often use food for comfort? This was very touching, my friend. You have told me about your cousin before, and I enjoyed reading about him here. I am sure your tribute is making him smile from above. You know that I will join in to spread the good word about this foundation.

As Always,

...we pray for our friend, Monica, who is battling leukemia. She was not-yet 8-years-old when she was diagnosed, and she's going on 10 now. So far, so good--the treatment she's getting seems to be working.

Thanks for sharing this story about Paul, and the Pins for Pauly effort.
