I saw this movie last week after much anticipation after seeing the previews. Myself being a Police Officer, I HAD to see this. I loved "Super Troopers" and figured this was going to be a spin off from this movie but a New England version instead. I enjoyed the movie somewhat and I will buy it on DVD but only because I like slap stick Police Humor and being an Officer, I have to get it and I need to drive my wife crazy with it!
To be perfectly honest, I was not IMPRESSED a lot of this movie. The plot started off good, the main charachter being a Hard Cop who loves his job and enjoys cleaning up the city, but he is so good they ship him off to a village where no crime happens because he is making their "sector" look bad with his ability to perform at his profession. From the previews I thought this was a great story line, good cop goes to boring town to make havoc on small time criminals. It turned out that way, but without giving the main plot away, I personally think It was a little boring and it dragged out to the ending. A lot of blood was shed in this movie which I was suprised. If you are looking to laugh your butt off at another "Super Troopers" remake, this is not the movie for that, wait till it is @ the cheap theatre or rent it.
