I hate it when i know more than the person who sells the product.

I bought a prepaid cellular phone from verizon for my mother to use if she ever got stranded in her car. This phone gets very little use and is a pain to get more air time for. Every time i go and get more minutes they change the policy. When i bought the phone you could buy the minutes over the phone with a credit card. They stopped that for awhile and what a pain it is to drive down to one of the stores and get more minutes. The people who sell this service don't seem to know how it works and i hate having to explain things to someone who should know more about it than me. It might not be their fault because Verizon changes their policy all the time. I can now buy minutes over the phone with a credit card again but they only sell you a 2 month policy. They use to have a 3month to 8 month program which ever worked better for you. Now you have no option and 2 months seems to come and go so fast it seems like i am constantly calling for more time. In my opinion they are trying to get you to buy a regular plan by making it a pain to keep the prepaid service. The phone is garbage but what can you expect for the least cost to have a phone for emergency only use. The price is $30.00 for 2 months.
