The Bottom Line

Oct 30 '03

The Bottom Line This section, right here, is what I'm talking about.

When writing haiku,
what use would one ever have
for The Bottom Line?

*****

The following field
contains too few words.
Oh yeah?
How about now, jerk?

I cannot believe
that here, where haiku belongs,
three lines ain't enough.

Seems the standard of
five-seven-five syllables
does not apply here.

Which, of course, begs the
question: is it possible?
Hundred-word haiku?

No. No no no no.
No no no no no. No no.
No no no no no no. Nope!

I cannot believe
you're still reading this sorry
filler, you damn fool.

The only reason
I'm still writing is because
it was required. Sheesh.
