Dell computers are cutting edge machines. The XPS B1000r is a prime example of this. It is powered by the 1GHz Intel Pentium III processor. It has 128 MB of RAM. It is truly a powerful machine for home or business applications.
The graphics are handled by a new Nvidia GEForce chip. It is supported by 32 MB of ultrafast DDR SDRAM display memory. The audio component is through Turtle Bay Santa Cruz audio card to a subwoofer and stereo speaker combination.
The model is a minitower. It has a 104 key keyboard. The price is $2,889. It is well worth it. It comes with a 30 GB hard drive, and a 19 inch monitor. It includes a 56 Kbps modem and DVD ROM and CD RW drives. The software included is the latest version of Windows and Microsoft Office installed. Dell includes a three year warranty and on site services in the first year of purchase.
B1000r runs at a very fast speed. Combine this with incredible graphics performance which is wonderful for gamers and graphics designers. It is great for home use as well as business applications.
The keyboard lacks the special Internet push button and color coordination options. Novice Users need not get frustrated from this model because Dudley Dell a cartoon nerd is there to help and guide users in an animated tutorial. Dudley walks users through language searches on the tech database and at support.dell.com.
Users have the option to order DellNet as the ISP with 150 free hours a month. It is only worth it if you use the service under five hours per day.
Overall, this model offers incredible graphics, top speed, and great performance.
