Great machine!!!

I got the same offer as the other reviewer ($500 -- closer to $600 after tax and shipping). I have to say that this is a great machine. Having added a good deal of additional hardware to it, I have to say that it is probably the most convenient machine that I have worked with. The layout on the inside of the machine is amazing -- it is so easy to work with.
In addition, you can pop another 933 Mhz Pentium III in there for about $180.00.
The CONS:
1) No sound card.
2) No powerful 3d graphics card (and no AGP slot).
3) Extra drive mounting rails cost $40.00!!!!
4) Hardware upgrades offered on web site are very expensive.
#1 and #2 should be expected for any server-class machine.
I found #3 somewhat shocking. The server comes with these neat little snap-on plastic drive rails for mounting new hard drives. They give you one extra for mounting things like CD-ROM drives and 1 extra for mounting hard drives.
However, if you need more than 1 additional rail, it will cost you $40.00 for another set. I almost dropped dead on the spot when I was quoted this price by the Gateway add-on department.
#4 is not so bad -- DO NOT BUY ANY ADDITIONAL OPTIONS FROM THE WEB SITE. Buy them later from places like www.crucial.com and www.buy.com. You will save a lot of money. Actually, the ridiculous prices on add-on hardware makes the $40.00 drive rails look like a bargain.
If anyone knows where I can get these drive rails cheaper, please let me know (galabar@hotmail.com).
I highly recommend this product.
