Abercrombie has crossed the line.Nov 14 '03 Write an essay on this topic.The Bottom Line Boycott Abercrombie & Fitch I have been disgusted with Abercrombie's catalogs for several years now. Previous issues always feature young naked women and men. Various issues have featured multiple partners lying naked together in the same bed. The catalogs also list mixed drink recipes such as "Orgasm" and "Sloppy Seconds". I find this offensive because of their target audience. They are reaching out to middle school, high school and college kids. The majority are too young to drink and much too young to be blasted with this fantasy ideal of sex. Abercrombie & Fitch has released the Christmas 2003 catalog. In this issue are topics like groups sex and group masturbation. I think they are calling it "Jack & Jill Off". UGHHHH. They are force-feeding our children this fantasy. Go and have sex and there will be no consequences. Well, what happens when the young girl ends up pregnant? Or the college student winds up at the doctor for some STD. What’s worse than that is the young teen/adult is left with this huge emotional void in their heart. Will Abercrombie be there to pick up the shattered pieces? I do realize that these students make their own decisions. Abercrombie is not there pulling the trigger. However, they are providing the gun and an ample supply of bullets. I will not allow my family to shop at Abercrombie & Fitch because they are one of the leading retailers out to destroy the family just so they can make a buck. They have jumped on the train of "Sex Sells." Are you willing to sacrifice American teenagers just to wear the A&F clothing?  |
