This is the exact same as Non Drowsy Dramamine. It works really well for motion sickness. I give one to my son when we go on long trips because he is prone to motion sickness and he usually just sleeps all the way to wherever we're going.

My doctors thought I had Meniere's Disease as well but my hearing patterns and stuff don't indicate that. It is a scary disease! I know people who are down for days with vertigo.
This definitely helps the spinning and nausea but I want it to go away forever and never come back. I wish there was something that could completely stop vertigo attacks but nothing can so we cope the best we can. Yuck.

Oh yeah, allergies can do a number on you. Benadryl is good too for fluid build up but for any dizziness Meclizine is the way to go!

Vertigo is awful and lots of times you never know why you have it. It's usually a bug or virus when you don't have ear issues. I have lots of problems with my ears so I know that's why I get vertigo. I am just glad I have this around. It helps a lot.

Just be sure her doctors says OK but it can cause drowsiness like any antihistamine.

for this. My oldest son has suffered since he was an infant with motion sickness. We do buy Dramamine but it would be nice to have cheaper alternative.

I have (Reply to this comment)
by ddustyrose
Meniere's Syndrome (vertigo) and this is my LIFE SAVER! I don't go anywhere without it...due to my condition, I take one pill in the morning and one at night. Should an attack come on, or if I feel one come on, I pop an extra pill. You really cannot function when you're down with vertigo! It's truly horrendous.
I wasn't happy when it was made available OTC, though. Why? Well, I could get a 3 month supply for $5, whereas, I have to pay $10 for a months supply now (more if I need another bottle). :(
Wouldn't it be nice if they could do something about vertigo?

Am so glad I read this review. Here in florida with all the wildfires, my allergies are going crazy. I get fluid build up in my ears and bamb, I feel like I am walking into the walls. I will have to get a bottle of this and try it out. Thanks! :D

Hi (Reply to this comment)

I had a couple months of vertigo in the fall of 2005, and my Dr. perscribed this for me. It helped, but didn't get rid of all the dizziness but it sure helped. Mine were 25 mg as well, so it's nice to know that this is available without a perscription! Saves me a trip to the Dr, since everything else was ruled out. We never did find out what was causing it!
Thanks for the information!
