The Bottom Line In short, I must tell you that if you can find a MAC store close-by, it will be to your benefit to see the colors up close and in person.

Make-up. It's not just a product, it's a way of life. You have your choice of so many different products and manufacturers these days, both on-line, and in the local stores, but, are you truly happy with what you're getting? If you aren't, you may look like "Scary Mary", this woman I work with. No one has the courage to tell her she looks like Tamy Fae Baker's evil twin, nor does anyone want to offer her any tips or advice. I mean, you never know what kind of pent up aggression might come spewing out of someone who's been locked away in make-up hell.
But anyhoozle...
Are you bored with the same old hum-drum beiges, roses, and mauves? Are you sick of looking like a well blended canvas? Well! Then might I suggest taking a trip over to www.maccosmetics.com? MAC, *the* place go to to find the new, the unusual, and the unique. MAC is a good thing. A very good thing!
The Site
---
If you don't have a MAC store close-by, I will recommend using their web site. I have in the past, several times in fact, and I have never had a problem ever. Their mode of shipping was both speedy and secure, and, my orders were always correct, and never damaged. I don't have much more to say on the subject because, I never experienced any woes with MAC on-line.
Mac Moved In
---
However, once the MAC counter moved into the Kauffman's in the local mall, I gave up on the on-line ordering. This is where things changed somewhat drastically for me. My only real issue with the web site, is it's poor representation of colors. Honestly, you aren't going to get the full effect of the colors they offer by viewing the images and swatches on the web site. I recall several colors I was not pleased with after seeing them on the net, but once I saw them in person... I absolutly loved them!
Freaky Stylee'
---------
Now, if you're into the basics in color, MAC can provide that. However, if you want to take a walk on the wild-side, then girlfriend, MAC is where it's at. They release new color collections seasonally, some of which are simply far out and wild. My personal favorite was the 'Cocktails' colletion, which included vibrant purples, shimmering greens, fantastic hot pinks, and a kickin' perfume scent called "Asphalt Flower", which smelled exactly like those "Chowards' Violet" candies. MMm. Faboo!
Won't Dent Your Pocketbook
-----
One of the best parts about MAC is it's prices. Check around the make-up counters in the local mall. Notice their prices, then head off to the MAC site, and compare. It's REALLY not so bad. The average eyeshadow will run you $12.50, a lipstick is about $14.00, and a nailpolish will cost you around $8.00.
Final Nuggets o' Thought

I'll leave you with some of my personal favorite colors. Colors which I own, and use, and simply cannot live without:
