Very Funny.

I didn't even know there were such things as meet & greet. I guess I 'll have to attend this next one in San Fran.

I wasn't second place in the Epi kids photo contest, I was the second winner. My picture was posted every bit as much as Aashok's.

It was great meeting such a prominent Epi personality at the Meet & Greet. I hope we'll meet again at another. My review is late in coming, but I'll be posting one within the next 24 hours using the link Garrett sent us. I'm way too behind in my review posting.

Found You! (Reply to this comment)

Dear Kristina: I have been looking for the Site to acknowledge the Party, but when someone asked me about it, I knew just where to come.

It was a very pleasant afternoon. Thank you for the compliments. It was a pleasure to meet you.

And I must say that your picture does you no justice. You are tall, well-formed, auburn-haired, and fair of face: A Viking Princess.

No wonder I saw you carrying a couple of those guys down the stairway on your shoulders like a brace of Elks.

Regards.

I will not talk about lipstick!

But I will say that I'm sending you a photo of a certain bartender - and this is your reminder to send me the restaurants you're going to review!

by bops_mom
you can Juls can talk about Chris and her anti-lipstick thing all you want so long as you two didn't bash me for not making it to the MnG. ;) (Chris will come after me, I'm sure - and no matter what she says, her one lipstick does not a lipstick comeback make).

It sounds like it was great; I wish I could have made it, but I had a family obligation and even if I didn't, I was so sick that weekend there's no way I'd have been able to drive up to SF. BUT, woman!!, if/when you are back in the area, let me know and I'll do my best to meet up with you!

So Jealous (Reply to this comment)
by DavidK93
Hey Kristina!

That's what I am. Insanely jealous that you get to go to all of these Meet'n'Greets, and I have only our memories of a single one. Well, maybe you'll come back to New York for the next one there. I know I will.

The Horse is, of course, of course, right. The Sixties was the greatest decade of pop peaking in 1967 during the Summer of Love. What passes as pop music these days is not about music at all but about the show. It's a shame.

I keep getting pulled over all the time! I just exude rebelliousness, huh? Actually I was too young to be a hippy, or anything else except a sports-loving child, in the late '60s and early '70s, but my taste in music does favor that era, thanks in part to two cool older brothers and a sister who wanted to be Judy Collins. Jesse Winchester? The Band? Mason Proffit? Most people my age haven't even heard of them. Ah, Crosby Stills and Nash. Now THOSE were harmonies. I do think the late '60s and early '70s generated some of the best pop music to date.

I enjoyed meeting you and the rest of the crew. I wound up speaking the most with Alex. He is a cool dude. And Alexis IS cute as a bug's ear, but I'm withdrawing my marriage proposal until she gets our Buying Guides published. I did one on speakers, and it's out there in the ether somewhere. Humbug.

60 Minutes mentioned Britney Sears tonight in their discussion of pornography. Hmm. I'm sure my comment on your review of her latest was about what you expected. I haven't heard the album, to be honest. Maybe there's some cool chord changes and interesting socio-politcal commentary there that was missing on her earlier efforts.

Heh heh.

Ciao,

Horse

Oh man, definitely gotta hit the midwest, that's for sure! I'm gonna make one of these, someday, somewhere, somehow. Sounds like you guys hit it off yet again! Wish I could've been there and seen tiffy for myself, I had a thing for her for a while, just one of those little things where they cross your mind more often than they should and you think to yourself DAMN, I want someone who acts just like that, you know how those go! Oh, but that's just another chip in the stone tablet of my life I guess :) Epinions is slowly taking over that thing, I tell ya.

SEee ya!

Andrew Babe,

No, Tony and I didn't hook up. I think I scare him. Or maybe, he worries about the potential lawsuits caused by his appearance at such a public event. Who knows. The jury is still out!

I didn't know you were in Dallas!!! That would definitely be cool to meet you. Bob the Tomato - the man obsessed with Sting....

dallas? Dallas? DALLAS! (Reply to this comment)
by bob_tomato
if there was ever a MnG I WANTED to be at, it would be the SF MnG - I lived in the Bay Area all of my life, and now I'm out here in Cowboys land. But you mentioned Dallas as a MnG location in the future? I know that there are a lot of reviewers that live around here, and I really want to meet you, kristinafh - no matter how one parses your nick, you are still THE epinions babe to me...

now that I've done my blatant buttsmooching for the day - a question: did you and Mr. Flores ever hook up? I know that was being discussed. Did he show up for the festivities? Just wondering...
