For Christmas my parents bought me the RCA RS1285 Stereo. Previous to then I had only had boomboxes or my computer for music in my room so I hooked up the stereo right away. I had some extra speakers that I hooked up to it also. I was also amazed at how simple it was to use it. I put in 5 CD's and put it on shuffle and I never turned it off for the rest of the day.

EASE OF USE
The RCA RS1285 is extremely simple to use and set up. The speakers it comes with have a wire in them internally so you only have one end to connect. The only other thing to connect is the AM antenna because the FM is already connected for you.

SOUND QUALITY
This stereo has rather small speakers but surprisingly those speakers pump out a lot of sound. I still would recommend hooking up some of you other speakers around the house though or even just buying some cheap K-Mart Speakers. I do a lot of exercising and playing basketball and stuff in my room and it takes quite a lot of shaking movement to make this stereo skip.

PRICE
Rather Cheap I believe it goes for $100 to $120 right now.

I recommend this Stereo for those who want their first real stereo or those who don't want to spend $300 on a stereo barely better than this one. Great Stereo Buy It!
