My Daughters A Part Of Me.
Nov 25 '03
The Bottom Line I wanted to write this for my daughters to say I love you with all my heart and I am very proud of all of you.
I sit here thinking of Thanksgiving and many thoughts go back to my four daughter's.
My oldest daughter April whom is 31 years old now, my first born being one of four wonderful daughters. She was always into everything and being a tom boy kept me on my toes. She was always the leader, talking her younger sisters into things and getting them into trouble. She has grown into a very strong, loving, adult. She has two children of her own now. Her Father and I are divorced now and we both have many health problems and she has always tried to be there for us both.
Nicole is my 2nd daughter. She will be 30 years old Thanksgiving Day. She was always the shy type, going alone with most of what her sisters wanted. She was always so kind and had a way with all the smaller children she came in contact with. She was a mothers little girl. She has grown into a lovely woman with a heart of gold and tries to help all around her. She has become a very strong adult with a daughter of her own.
Tonya is my 3rd daughter. She is 27 years old now. She was always the little trouble maker as her sisters liked to call her by telling things on them and wanting to hang out with them when they wanted to be with children closer to their age, making it hard for her to understand. She has grown into a wonderful adult with a little boy and one on the way. She is always willing to help her family and others.
Jessica is my 4th daughter. She has just turned 15 this month. Tonya my 3rd daughter was 12 years old when she was born. Jessica was very spoiled by all the family and friends and therefore wanted her way as she grew older, raising her has been a real experience at my age. I turned 50 years old this month and with my health problems she has missed out on a lot of things her sisters got to do. Jessica at the age of four was a very sweet child, sharing all she had with others and very much a daddy's girl. Her father and I divorced when she was almost five, and it was hard on her, but she has adjusted very well, as her father and I stay in touch and do what we can for her. Jessica is growing into a smart, sweet, and loving teenager, despite her being ((boy crazy and the back talk ))that gets her into trouble and the most dreaded thing in her young life the word (( GROUNDED!}} lol .
I just wanted to write this in honor of my daughters whom are always there for me and I know I can always count on them. I know as a parent I have failed them many times, no parent is perfect and all we can do is the best we know how. They always call me, visit and tell me how much they love me. They tell me they are proud of me and the way I raised them so I must have done something right. ( smiles).
I have five grandchildren, one is heaven and four with us. I can see so much of my daughters in them and I am very proud of the way my daughters are raising them.
