In the weekend of the 10th of August I stayed in this hotel in Milan.
I was lucky because I had received a Free Friday award from Starwood Preferred Guests.
The check in was friendly and efficient. However, a big disappointment was the fact that the Health club was closed during my stay.
The hotel has extremely beautiful decorated public areas and guestrooms. My room was very large, it had a marble bathroom, and a large walk – in wardrobe . I had a view on a small park in front of the hotel at the Piazza Republica.
Since it was holiday time in Milan, the hotel had only a few guests. It was extremely dull in the restaurant an bar, there was not music at all. Prices in the restaurants were high. The quality good.
The service is perfect and friendly. Since my return flight was in the evening they arranged I could stay in my room until 18:00u! That was great!
This hotel has a very good location. In 10 minutes you can walk to the Central Station where the Pulman bus to the airports arrives. It is a very comfortable air-conditioned bus. It takes 40 minutes to Malpensa.
In front of the hotel is the station for the Underground and at the corner the trams stop to the city centre.
