My shopping experience using eBates has been wonderful. The site is just about foolproof. First, I just signed up for the service without any real intention of using eBates. About a month later, I went back to the site while looking to buy inkjets. I noticed that eBates had a 22% rebate for a certain brand, and a coupon! The end result? I saved just under $10 by using the eBates website.
EASE OF USE:
Merely sign up to use eBates. The site takes care of all the hard work for you.
SELECTION:
From Amazon books to VisionDirect eyewear, eBates has something for you. Rebates are offered on magazines, books, furniture, clothing and outdoor gear.
REBATE AMOUNT:
With my first purchase, I received a 22% rebate. Granted, this site was having some type of sale, so I got double lucky. Most rebates range from 2-10%, still not shabby considering you can sometimes get free shipping as well.
PAYMENT:
You can choose to have your “big fat check” mailed to you, donated to charity or deposited into your paypal account. Although the frequency of the payout is a bit disappointing for anyone wanting “instant gratification,” (payout is every three months…if check equals over $5.01) the fact that you are actually getting a hassle-free rebate should more than make up for it!
