The Bottom Line Highly recommended if you are a true bargain hunter and have a little time to look. Be warned...can be addictive!

If you have a tendancy to fall in love doing something easily, don't try E-bay. Once you receive that first "End of Auction" message, you are an addict. While it can be a time-consuming habit, you find yourself looking for the oddest and craziest things in the world, it can also be an expensive habit. The more you look, the more you bid. The more you bid, the more you buy. The more you buy, the more money you spend. It can be downright scary!
The most ecclectic collection of items you either never thought you would need or never thought you would want can be found on E-bay.
Of course, if you lose your first few bids in the last few second, you may never become addicted.
E-bay is free to buyers. Sellers pay a nominal fee for listing their products. Most of the time, if the product doesn't sell, it can be re-listed for free. Easy to use but if people spell the item wrong, you may not locate it. Usully, there are many different ones of each item to choose from.
Proxy bidding makes sure you don't have to spend too many hours sitting, watching to see if you won your auction. You can set your limit of what you want to spend and even if someone matches it, you win because you bid first.
E-bay is a lot of fun but can be very addictive so be careful. Happy Bargain Hunting!
