That was a awesome title yeah but that was a game that you had to learn in and out just to finish it on hard. Signs of a great game though. Thanks Rock!

Shoplmart, I remember playing Wave Race 64 so much that I had the tracks memorized so well I could finish them on the hardest mode, or against any person with my eyes closed. And win. It was great.
Again, awesome list man.

Yeah, it definitely took awhile to weed out all my favourites. I would say it took about a good week to figure them all out.

I will agree that Goldeneye was a very good game but if I had to include any First person shooter in my list it would be only Halo. I'm still a big 2D fan so games like that are not my favourite.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane! Your list is impressive.
From the list, I deduce that first person shooter type games are not your favorite. They're not mine either, but I would make room for Goldeneye, Nintendo 64. There's nothing like getting 4 people together and hunting each other James Bond style. We even had tournaments in my dorm back in my college days.
Great list.

That the great thing about a fun older title like Thunder Force 4 (or Lightning Force), they are timeless whether or not the system dies. Thanks for the comments and keep on gaming, eh?

Nice Opinion! (Reply to this comment)
by Andrew_Lim
And yes, I definitely remember those days when consoles ruled the gaming market.
Especially loved games such as Thunderforce 4, the Streets of Rage series and Alien Storm. I still play some of these on my Emulater today, and still enjoy them as much as I did almost 10 years ago.

I'll admit the game had some problems, still the game plays fine on the bigger Nights controller and I also like the hidden extras found in the levels. Sonic R had some cool ideas anyway.

Although I liked the Resident Evil games for its horror and violence, I was never a fan of those annoying controls. Sorry.

Thanks Rock_On and Shoplmart for the comments, many of my favourites were actually older games, eh?

Sonic R on the list of honourable mentions, are you nuts. Yeah the graphics and sound are good, but when you can't get Sonic to turn without hitting a wall, makes you yearn for a game with a fat italian plumber driving a go kart.

Thanks for the stroll down memory lane.. I remember playing Wave Race 64 for hours on end due to the lack of games out for the N64 at the time.

Nice list, didn't surprise me at all that you'd have Wario's Woods at number one.
