Bidbay....No way!!

I have been involved with buying and selling on Bidbay since March. I figured it would be a great alternative than having to pay eBay's fees so often as Bidbay has free listings.
Bidbay offers it's own image hosting service, free listings, supportive employees and a friendly community filled with chat boards and fun and of course contests to keep everyone interested. Does it work ? For that moment, yes.
Bidbay also offers something called Bidbay bucks aka Funny money to some of us. The premise of these bucks is as follows: You earn bidbay bucks for every feedback people leave for you, for joining up with Bidbay and for selling items with Bidbay bucks (in other words giving away your items) of course the buyer pays shipping on this product.
Most of the items I have seen for bidbay bucks are just plain junk that no one else wants or the seller knows they will not be able to offer the item for money so why not give it away.
Selling items for money on Bidbay does not prove to be very lucrative. It just seems like no one wants to spend any real money on this site and if they do it's for a very inexpensive price.
The CEO George thinks he has a real winning site there and anytime everyone gets in an uproar he runs some kind of corny contest to peak everyone's interest and tell him how great his site is. Of course this does not make money for the rest of us and our auction items pile up higher.
Bidbay is an eBay wannabe site and never can compare to the good old original. Buyers and sellers at this site think this site will improve as it gets older but somehow I don't really see how this will happen.
Many many auctions are relisted 10x over and still no one bids. The items just sit there for months on end.
Bidbay may have all the hoopla to make this site attractive to poor unsuspecting sellers trying to make a buck but it really is a joke.
Just because Bidbay features real live tech boards where the techs answer you right away (not always) or because they have a Chat board or a "Beg to Buy My Items" For Sale board doesn't make the grade in my book. I expect to be able to sell more items than I buy at this place and that hasn't happened nor do I feel it ever will.
