I always like doing these survey things, and since everyone else is doing it...(I'm a follower, what can I say?) lol Questions: Birth date: August 27 Height: 4'11" Eye color: brown Hair color: Dark brown What does your name mean: at the first sonogram we had after I got pregnant, our son (at the time we didn't know if it was a boy or girl) looked just like a peanut, so that's what our family nicknamed the baby until we knew the sex. When I registered for Epinions, the first name I wanted was taken, so I went with pnutmom. Look, that's him, right over there ----------->>>>>>> High school graduation year: 1994 Favorite relatives: Well, I love all my relatives, but honestly I favor my Mom's side of the family. I'm closer to them, and my Dad's side acts like we're a bunch of country bumpkins... Summer memory: which summer?? I remember being able to ride my bike around the neighborhood, by myself! Kids can't do that anymore... Do you get motion sickness: Strangely enough, only on cruise ships. Something about being at sea for 2-3 days straight just upsets my stomach... Rollercoasters- deadly or exciting: deadly! How many rings before you answer the phone: however long it takes me to actually find the phone, but I only get four rings before the machine picks up... I don't see why I'd do that... If you could have any occupation when you get older, what would it be: Journalist or architect If you could dye your hair one color, what would it be: I might highlight it with a caramel-ish shade, but I wouldn't dye it - it would dry out too much! If you could have a tattoo, what and where would it be: If I knew it wouldn't hurt too much, I'd maybe get a tattoo. Maybe the Chinese symbol for love on my right shoulder blade or something... Actually, there's a little bit of blue paint of two of the white walls, because we didn't use painter's tape and we weren't exactly experienced painters at the time! Is the glass half-empty or half-full: if I've been drinking out of it, it's half empty. If I just filled it up, it's half full. Which do you prefer- Cool Ranch or Nacho Cheese Doritos: Nacho Cheese Favorite flavor Snapple: I don't drink Snapple Which one, Coke or Pepsi: If I was forced to choose one, it would be Coke (Vanilla). Favorite Holiday: Seeing as my birthday's not a holiday, I have to say Christmas Tomtermite added some questions to his write-off entry, and I thought they were interesting, so I'm adding them to mine. Hope he doesn't mind! What has been your greatest lifetime achievement? My son. I haven't done anything tremendously great career-wise, don't have a cure for cancer, I'll never win a Nobel Peace Prize...but my little boy - having him was the best decision I ever made! How do you think of your best friend? How?? With my brain? I'm guessing this would make more sense if it said what do you think... Anyway, she's like a sister (we even wrote up adoption papers for each other in the 7th grade stating that we were officially sisters). Known her since we were 11 - that's over half my life! If you eat steak, how do you like it cooked? Mmmm steak. Medium rare. And hold the mad cow disease. Do you forgive and forget? Explain. I can forgive, but it can take awhile to forget. It depends on how much whatever I'm trying to forget upset me. Tell about your first kiss? I don't kiss and tell. ;) Do you get cranky when you don't get your way? Explain or give an example. This depends. For instance, if my husband and I are trying to decide where to eat for dinner, we just compromise. I don't throw a fit or anything then. However, I am notorious for falling asleep on the couch at night. If he tries to wake me up and tell me to go to bed, I get really cranky then. My Mom says I was the same way when I was little, and she'd have to wake me up at night when I was sick so I could take medicine... Is a rainy day a wasted day? Explain. Not unless I had plans - something I had to do. I don't like driving on the highway when it's raining really hard, not to mention trying to get my son's carseat in and out of the car, in pouring rain! If I don't have plans though, we'll just sit at home and read, or watch a movie. Whom do you like best, your lover or your family pet? Compare the two. Hmm, one likes to pleasure me, and the other likes to pleasure himself. LMAO. (that would be my husband and dog, respectively). Let's see, Tater gives me unconditional love and is always happy to see me when I get home. My husband annoys the crap out of me sometimes, and he's usually happy to see me when I get home. They're both guilty of not doing stuff I ask them to do. However, my husband doesn't sit on the couch and noisily lick his butt and other unmentionable areas, therefore I have to say I like him more. Do you cheat at solitaire? I can't - the computer won't let me. :( Are you the life of the party? What party?! No one told me about any party! Guess not... Make a list of undone chores and tell which ones you may procrastinate about doing. The ones I may procrastinate about doing?! I procrastinate on ALL of them! Let's see, I need to dust, vacuum, sweep and mop the kitchen. Let's not mention how bad our bedroom looks. Finish painting my son's furniture (I know, I know)... If I told you you had a beautiful body, would you hold it against me? Umm, no. That's how my husband and I ended up with our son to begin with. lol Would you like me to stop this? Don't explain. no.
