Pros: works well in small areas, not messy
Cons: I got a horrible scent, not for larger areas.
The Bottom Line: For rooms this is a good deal, it did not work as well in larger areas, plus I got a nasty scent that I can't wait to use up.

| bradshawcl's Full Review: Glade Wisp Air Freshener All Scents |
So, in my addiction to home fragrances, I picked up a Glade Wisp for about $6 with Clean Linen scented oil. The scented oil is supposed to last 60 days. I wanted something a little more continual than just the Glade Glass Scents, but nothing like a candle.
The Wisp I got is redesigned from the one you see pictured- its an egg shape that is about 4 inches tall and about 3 inches wide. It is white in color, and has a silver top. The center of the egg shape is cut out, and this is where you screw in your little pot of scented oil. The adjuster for the fragrance meter is right on the front, and you scoot the level to the left or right to choose your level of fragrance. The levels are represented by vertical lines; the longer the line meaning the more often the fragrance is expelled through the top. The scented oil comes in a .26 fl. oz. pot.
As I mentioned before, I got the Clean Linen fragrance, which I loved in the Scented Oil Candles, so I figured it would be just as nice in the Wisp. Also, there is a choice of Hawaiian Breeze or Suddenly Spring in the starter kits, and refills are available in the scents mentioned before, along with Apple Cinnamon, Delicate Petals, and Vanilla Garden. The only refills I saw were the Hawaiian Breeze, Clean Linen, and Suddenly Spring.
The unit requires 1 AA battery, which is included; you just have to pull the little plastic tab out of the bottom of the battery compartment to activate the battery. To insert the refill, remove the plastic cap from it, and insert in the unit by lining up the tabs and the turn it to the right until it locks into place.
Be sure to place your unit upright on a horizontal surface, and make sure nothing is in the way above it, because you dont want the spray to get all over something. The fragrancer will start automatically, so be sure not to have it pointed towards your face when fiddling with it. Also, dont put the little oil pot or cap on finished surfaces, it may stain them. Dont use this in confined places such as a car, and dont take this unit apart. Also, keep it out of reach of kids and pets; I imagine if they get sprayed with the oil, it would cause eye irritation. If you notice your unit not puffing any fragrance, check the battery and make sure the scented oil is in correctly.
Experience:
Well, apparently I was wrong about the Clean Linen Scent, it is awful in this Wisp, but fabulous in the Scented Oil Candles. This Wisp stuff smells too much like cologne to me, and I really dont care for it. So much so that I had to take it out of the living room and put it in the den. I had it set on the lowest setting, and I really couldnt smell it that much in the den, so I moved it to the bathroom and it is doing much better there. I have found it does much better in smaller rooms than in larger ones.
I have mine set on the lowest setting, and I have had it just over a month, and there is still half a pot of oil left, so I can safely say on the lowest setting this will last 60 days or so.
As far as the puffs from the unit- I was really surprised that it was as fine of a mist as it was. I guess I thought it would be like an aerosol spray, and make a big mess, but it really doesnt get anywhere. It is really fine, and if youre not watching, youll miss it coming out. I didnt hear any noise associated with the mist coming out either. I am really glad it doesnt make a big mess all around it.
So, am I going to get some more of these? Hmmmmm
.. hard to say. I have just about every plug in and such in a drawer- and when I get a coupon for the refills, Ill buy some. Not really sure if thats saving me money, but I guess it feeds my addiction. I would really like to try the apple cinnamon scent (just not in the bathroom) should I happen to see it somewhere I would pick it up. I really like it in the bathroom, it gives off a continual scent and I dont have to spray cans of spray all the time. But, for larger rooms, this is not for them. For sure the Clean Linen scent is not for me, blah! Overall, I give it an above average rating, just because I like the performance in smaller areas.
